UZ Gent (Gent University Hospital) enters an ASP agreement with Air Liquide and selects Columbus’ Facility Navigator’s Web Solution as its platform for total infrastructure management for its entire campus.

Long time Client Expands Relationship with Columbus

June 20, 2007 – UZ Gent, Belgium (http://www.uzgent.be/), A leading medical centers in Belgium has entered into an ASP agreement with Columbus' partner, Air Liquide for the use Columbus’ Facility Navigator’s web solution to manage their entire facilities in the 300,000 Square Meter campus.
UZ Gent has also selected the Columbus ADR (Automatic Drawing Recognition) tool to manage CAD Drawing and data implementation procedures.

Facility Navigator (already installed in UZ Gent as a LAN software tool) is a Facility Infrastructure Management System that provides granular CAD-based graphic and text information about a facility. This information includes the infrastructure and assets’ physical locations, combined with information on dependencies and interrelations. The infrastructure’s physical, logical and causal connections are mapped, providing cross-system and cross-floor engineering insights.

The Air Liquide ASP Web version of Facility Navigator will be used by UZ Gent in a very demanding environment, allowing the Hospital to manage critical infrastructure such as Medical Gas along with more traditional such as space.

“UZ Gent's selection is a confidence vote in our new ASP model with Air Liquide as well as in the tool itself with all its new features,” said Ilan Sandor, Chief Operating Officer, Columbus. “We continue to add enhancements to the solution and look forward to many more years delivering value to UZ Gent.”

UZ Gent selected the new ASP based web-enabled solution as a result of Columbus' cooperation with Air Liquide, its four year relationship with Columbus and successfully using the company’s earlier versions of Facility Navigator.
