The Israel Postal Company Purchase Columbus Web Enabled Facility Navigator to Manage Their Facilities.

 

July 1st, 2008 – The Israel Postal Company, (http://www.israelpost.co.il/) with 700 branches and sites nation wide has chosen the Columbus Facility Navigator to manage all their facilities for space and assets with an option for other infrastructure layers. Ness Technologies, a Columbus partner and sole distributor for the Israeli market, will lead the implementation work utilizing the ADR technology for quick and efficient implementation according to Columbus strategy

Facility Navigator (FN) is a comprehensive facility infrastructure management system that provides granular CAD-based graphic and text information. This information includes the infrastructure and assets’ physical locations, combined with information on dependencies and inter-relations.

The Automatic Drawing Recognition (ADR) technology analyses and interprets CAD drawings into a standard and easy to use SQL database. Its ability to gather and process CAD information ensures the most updated and correct data is always available for various applications.
