Columbus Facility Navigator’s Safety and Preventive Management Module improves the efficiency of emergency operations, including response, planning and ground command. Successful emergency operations depend on obtaining information about the location of the event, establishing priorities and implementing a response plan in real-time.
Facility Navigator’s Safety and Preventive Management Module provides property managers with information relevant to fire and safety features, including means of egress, emergency evacuation, escape routes, areas of refuge as well as location/maintenance information regarding emergency equipment.
When accessing equipment on a drawing, popup windows appear, indicating unique identifiers for the item, location, type, manufacturer, date of last inspection, name of inspector and action taken. Additional fields are easily added to meet specific application and user needs.
The module manages all equipment including fire extinguishers, fire pumps, medical gas valves, fire and smoke dampers; battery powered egress lights, fire alarm pull stations and bells, exit lights, standpipe hoses as well as many other safety items requiring systematic management. Presentation of this information is organized into categories critical to the organization, i.e.: safety; security; critical engineering systems; emergency response; planning; emergency evacuation and emergency information.
